(D5, LA) Examining the Merchandise

Dhel blinks at the ...joke? Well, she was supposed to be the one acting refined up here.

"If it works as well as you want it to...well that seems like a reasonable sort of purchase."

Sinclair smiles with the joke, but doesn't laugh, Sinclair is not a man who laughs. Giving a nod of his head toward a nearby cabinet he searches along the many drawers, reading some sort of sign from them that neither of them would be able to decipher, and then opening just the right one. As it was one of the lower drawers he removed the insert and lifted it over toward the glass counter along the other wall which contained a fine assortment of vibro-blades.

Laying it down there he waved Raven over and showed a display of small military medals of service, "Now.. I'm afraid unless you wished for a custom work the company responsible for the assembly of these devices has a rather limited range of clientele they commonly service. Unfortunately, this clientele does not usually include battle commanders. However," he gives a raised index finger, a pleasant smile, "this particular model is embedded within a relatively small pin that could be worn on any cloth bunched up by the neck, like a body suit or.. preferably I would suggest a scarf worn underneath the armor."

It was cute. This genteel gentleman offering pointers on what to wear underneath armor.

Tilting the shades down for a better look, a simple pin seemed much better for her and not having to worry about it being flashy jewelry on her armor in a fight. It could easily attach to her cloak or the bodyglove.

"Very nice." Raven nodded approvingly. "I'll have much less concern wearing that compared to the finer pieces that are more suitable for ms. Dotaivi's aesthetics. What is the price range on these?"

"For these.. 2000 credits," he says with that pleasant smile of his.

Wasn't nearly as crazy expensive as the ones he'd shown Dhel, but that made sense as it didn't come with beautiful gemstones.

Thinking it over a moment or two, Raven nodded. "Alright. That sounds acceptable to me." As she wasn't going to be using hers to fancy events, Raven saw no point in attempting to haggle over the price.

Dhel makes inward note of the smaller (and cheaper) medals for some potential future where she needs something a bit easier to tuck away as she shifts back into the frame with a nod. "Agreed. It suits you." Then, mindful of the future, she smiles at Sinclair. "So delightful finding a reputation that isn't overblown foolishness from time to time. Your insight is remarkable."

She sets a credit chip on the counter. Knowing it'll come back with enough for a really good round of drinks and nothing more has her almost ready to take it back with a round of apologies. More credits than she's seen at once, transferred in the blink of an eye.

"It is why you come to Sinclair," he smiles, palming the credit chip and taking it into hand. Walking through an elegant wooden door and disappearing behind it. Returning in a few minutes he slid the chip back along and smiled pleasantly to both women.

"I hope to see you both again," he dips his head, focusing in on Dhel. "And remember, tell your friends," he said, giving that leading smile to remind her of the stipulation her their negotiated deal.

Raven was glad she'd settled up with Dhel for this beforehand. It also helped the Bothan look even that more rich, or at least so she thought.

"Thank you," she dipped her head to her 'charge', smiling for a moment at the much smaller lady. Wow, she really is tiny. She looks bigger on stage. Probably wouldn't even break a sweat carrying her. The Mandalorian couldn't quite shake the thought of scooping up Dhel like some cute little cat/dog in her arms and pet her.

And Dhel would probably not object.

Clearing her throat to forget about that for now, Raven watched the transaction take place. "I hope to come again too."

"Always happy to furnish transactions of the finest variety," he looks to Raven and dips his head with that signature smile of his.

"It is why you come to Sinclair," he smiles, palming the credit chip and taking it into hand. Walking through an elegant wooden door and disappearing behind it. Returning in a few minutes he slid the chip back along and smiled pleasantly to both women.

"I hope to see you both again," he dips his head, focusing in on Dhel. "And remember, tell your friends," he said, giving that leading smile to remind her of the stipulation her their negotiated deal.

Dhel tucks the chip away again with only an inward sigh. "Of course. I know they'll love the quality and service. It's really been a pleasure," she assures as they turn to leave. Her smile remains pleasant, and a bit awed.

Completely unaware of her companion's sudden interest in small, pettable sentients, she waits until they're well out of the shop before grabbing the bodyguard's arm and burying her face in Raven's shoulder to giggle a bit hysterically with a muffled "aaaaaaah"
