One thing that Manny was always on the lookout for was a good egg supplier. After all, he went through a lot of them; it made sense to buy in bulk. But at the same time, he had to make sure they were quality eggs, since the ones that weren't used in tricks were turned into food. It was a lot of work!

And so Manny found himself wandering about Restaurant Alley, casually dressed. He looked this way and that, his eyes alert. Alert for eggs!

He'd found it! A grocery store near the corner that was bound to have a good selection of eggs, and hopefully some that were just the right size! However, as he approached the store an older woman with a nice daisy hat came walking out of the store and looked to him. Squinting her eyes just to be sure she called him over, "Don't I know you?" she was old, she sounded old, but there was almost that lingering threat of glee in that she was hoping for a certain answer.

[Manny Donos]

"Hey there, ma'am!" Manny greeted her. "Probably not. I'm new here. But I'm Manny. Manny the magician!"

With a flourish, he pulled out his deck of cards, shuffling them in the air, grinning at her.

"Manny the Scoundrel! More I like it," she said in that cranky older lady voice, she said grabbing at his arm as she started waving for attention. "You robbed my husband back on Kamda, I never forget a face! Help! Help! This man's a CRIMINAL!"

"What? Hey!" Manny dodged. "No, wait, it's okay, I only do good crime!"

Perhaps this wasn't the time to explain. Manny did his best to hurry on his way.

Slipping away from her he not only gets a quick head start but also has time to realize he has to think fast as he sees the top of a few trooper helmets pushing their way through a small group of people.

Troopers could push their way through a crowd... but a magician like Manny could fit anywhere! He turned, heading for denser groups and crowded lanes that he could easily slip through, while someone in bulky armor couldn't.

Brief though it may be, Manny manages to get onto the other side of the crowd while the troopers continue to struggle through. Giving him plenty of time to make his escape for now. Only a matter of hoping not too many people got a good look at him...
